Much as we love all the jewellery we sell, we hate to see it come back once we’ve released it into the world. However we know sometimes things change and you may need to return it. That’s fine!

I’ve bought the wrong size – can I return it? Of course you can – just email info@wdgretail.com and we’ll send you a returns number and returns form to send it back to us. And may we cough politely and do a meaningful head tilt towards our brand new and totally free jewellery sizer? Just ask us for one of these and we’ll get it in the post - guaranteed to make ill-fitting jewellery a thing of the past!

What can’t I return? Anything that’s been personalised, such as an engraved pendant. Or earrings – that’s just wrong. If you return a ring that’s the wrong size, we’ll send you a ring sizer in return – we’re afraid that once you’ve got the sizer we can’t accept any more rings if they are the wrong size.

What happens if it arrives damaged? Our quality control manager will get what’s known in the trade as a bit of a talking to. Each item is inspected by the team before it leaves us to make sure it’s in perfect condition. If it arrives damaged, just let us know within 48 hours by emailing info@wdgretail.com and we will send you a form to fill out. Just send this back and we will exchange it or give you a full refund including any postage costs you’ve incurred.

Can you give me a quick guide to how I return things?

• You need to return them within 14 days of the first day the Post Office tried to deliver the goods.

• All returned goods (that aren’t being sent back because they are damaged) need to be unused with all the packaging in perfect condition. If they aren’t, unfortunately we have to return them to you.

• Once we receive your goods and completed forms we will immediately start the refund process. Postage on returned goods can only be refunded if the goods were faulty or damaged.

• Any refund will be made to the card used to make the purchase

Surely that’s all I need to know? We have just two pearls of wisdom for you – we advise you to send us any returns by Royal Mail Special Delivery quoting your returns number as we can’t accept any responsibility for items sent standard delivery.

And also – it’s a good idea to avoid using the word ‘jewellery’ on the packaging to deter people along the way who may want a freebie….
